"Absolutely terrible firm! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I purchased a property as a first time buyer and had a Sophie as my conveyancer. She was nice enough on the phone but communication was awful. She would never respond to emails from either me or the estate agent and when I tired to call her the line cut off half the time. She told me that she had to raise an inquiry with the lender. As time dragged on she said she kept chasing it with the lender but after two months I called the lender myself and they said they had not heard from her at all. This eventually dragged on and I lost the property. I even escalated to her boss and just got fobbed off with the same thing. They are just either incompetent or lying. No waste your time with this firm"

"This firm was recommended by Edward Mellor Ashton-under-Lyne. Terrible service, lack of communication, wasted a lot of time! Laura Roberts was a conveyancing solicitor. Her SRA registration linked to Abacus Solicitors LLP however, not to this firm. She from the start was finding ways to stop the purchase of the property. There were many of occasions when I couldn't reach Laura Roberts on the phone and she would not reply to my emails. Escalating to her line manager Daniella Gonzalez didn't bring any relief. When I have asked for a Zoom call with Laura Roberts and Daniella Gonzalez, Ms Gonzalez informed me that it would cost me an additional £255 + VAT per hour. We have changed Solicitors firm now, but it would have been better, to never Instruct ET Law Limited to act for our property purchase in the first place. Find solicitor by recommendation from family and friends not ESTATE AGENTS!!!!"
