"Awful service. Messed up with the insurance and lost all of my completed paperwork three times and then threats to forward my details to a debt agency when I paid them extra originally to deal with it directly. Totally unprofessional and disorganised. Won't use fro any of my animals ever again."
"Another brilliant visit to the team at Calder Vets. Otis had managed to get the Christmas cake and really enjoyed quite a bit of it. The team were amazing and treated Otis quickly and looked after him so well. He is back to his normal daft self. Thank you to the team"
"Absolutely brilliant, greeted my dog with strokes, diagnosed her (which my previous vets couldn't) was very welcoming. Explained everything to us. Wasn't rushing us in and out, all the staff was friendly and welcoming. Absolutely amazing would highly recommended Calder to everyone."
"This was our first experience with Calder Vets after moving to Wakefield and unfortunately we had an emergency situation with our dog. The initial appointment and triage were excellent, but we did not receive a single phone call to update us on our dog’s progress, despite me calling every few hours and being told “someone will get back to me soon”. To add insult to injury, the bill was far in excess of what we were originally quoted, and a member of the reception team was consistently unhelpful and rude. I was even told that I was not provided with an update for over 24 hours because “they had a very busy day and no one had time”. When your young and healthy dog is rushed in for emergency care and hospitalisation due to blood loss for unknown reasons, you expect to be dealt with in a delicate and caring matter, and I felt like both me and my dog were nothing but a problem to this practice. I will be seeking an alternative veterinary surgery who have a more professional and friendly emergency care team."
