"It's a shame that I feel I can only give 2 stars but unfortunately my experience & therefore my review is a disappointing one. When I first arrived I felt uncomfortable & wasn't warmly greeted. I stood there for about 5 minutes without anybody attempting to take my dogs from me, they didn't ask any questions & the groomer didn't approach me. The assistant did however, but never initiated that she would be taking my dogs from me, so I continued to "hang" around. She did fuss them & stated she had a "lhapso" & that it was a relative of mine, which I had to point out that my dogs too, are Lhasa Apso's, alarmed that she couldn't even tell! I didn't really know what they wanted me to do from that point on, so I had to ask them if they were going to take my dogs off me, or did I have to wait until they were ready to receive them. I just didn't know. Unfortunately this laid back approach took the professionalism away & I left feeling confused & concerned. I collected my puppies 3 hours later to find that they didn't really look any different. The fur on their tails were all crimped like they'd been washed & left to dry, without any blow drying or brushing. Their paws aren't nicely rounded off as there's tufts of hair sticking out & I don't really think the ears have been trimmed at all. The legs don't seem to have been brushed out either as they too are curly & crimped, not fluffy like they're supposed to look. For the time it took I wasn't expecting them to look so unfinished. I also don't like the scent of the shampoo, it reminds me of a cheap toilet cleaner. I'm hoping it's shampoo & not perfume as I don't like perfume on my dogs, but because she asked no questions she wouldn't know that. And considering this shop has been here for 2 years it's very scraggy & unkempt looking, not fresh & tidy like you'd expect from such a new establishment. On the positive side my pooches faces seem nicely groomed & the price is very cheap, but I've learned in this industry you get what you pay for."
