"Large apartment, which looked just like the advertised pictures - enough room for four to share. Fantastic location and views over Shaftesbury Avenue - obviously quite loud at night despite two sets of windows (it's central London!), mainly vehicle noise. Friendly staff."
"Most horrible experience. Was moved without asking to an other location. Paid and confirmed in advanced. At new venue I was terrorized by an Pakistani manager who kept calling, enter the room while i was in shower to remind me of check out time 11Am - note the Pakistani came after 9AM. I even took a video and sent it to management. Be very careful here - even position is close to station - a hotel with same price would be securer as this place. Bathroom and shower was filthy dirty with hair and even shampoo form privious guest was in the shower. Tooth paste droppings was on the side of the wash cabinet too. Book rather somehing else"
"DO NOT BOOK THESE APARTMENTS - THEY ARE A TOTAL CON!!!! I booked a studio for four only to arrive to find one bed and a single couch with 3 blankets. The studio was no resemblance to what was advertised and about 4am water started pouring through the ceiling onto the bed and all our clothes. Upon phoning the Agents we were advised they could not get anyone out that day which resulted in us having to leave a day early. Once I arrived home I called the spoke to the team on several occasions and e-mailed the manager twice - they did not respond. THESE APARTMENTS ARE A TOTAL RIP OFF - STAY WELL CLEAR AS ONCE THESE CHARLATANS HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY DON'T CARE OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU ARE LEFT IN...."
"You are directly in the thick of it when staying here. Central London is outside your doorstep. Piccadilly Underground Station is a few footsteps away to get you wherever you want to get in London. Upsides: Location is AWESOME. Price is very reasonable. Flats are clean, modern, and comfy; even including a washing machine/dryer, fridge, and full stove. Elevator works fine, as far as I could tell. Neutrals: Internet was just okay, kind of spotty. Not sure if it was the density of WiFi in Central London or if the provider had issues. Negatives: Reception (if you would even call it that) was a tough one, especially if traveling from overseas. You have to call their number, which is a challenge if you're a foreigner. The number led to the manager's cellphone and he would let you into the building upon first arrival. If you can't get ahold of them (no phone), then you're literally stuck on the street. The other negative is the noise. BUT, I can't really put that on My Apartments. That's just the location. You're surrounded by clubs, bars, heavy traffic, and the hustle and bustle of a large city. If you are a troublesome sleeper, you may want to book a little further away. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. I loved the location, loved London, and the convenience of it. Good place to stay. Also, I hope you like Ikea."
