"The hotel was a reasonably good price for 2 nights, though it was very out of the way of the main part of London. We had to get trains and tubes from the centre of London into Stratford. Once at Stratford Station, it’s a 25 minute walk to the hotel. Because of the distance to the centre, we ended up spending a lot of money on public transport and taxis etc. The room itself was okay, the bed was comfortable and we had a TV - although the remote for it was literally cello-taped together. We didn’t have air-con, and in the 30 degree heat this would have been really nice, instead we had to open the window which looked out onto the main road - all night long we heard cars going past and people talking, it was really annoying and at points we struggled to sleep. The bathroom for me was the worst part, I didn’t feel comfortable showering in there because it was really unclean. I also was downright baffled because they didn’t have a bin in the toilet; as a woman it’s really important that we are provided sanitary bins in the restroom, so this is something that needs to be changed asap. Overall, the stay wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t rush back to stay here again."
"Staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. Cleanliness wise it wasn't the best but not horrible. The water in the shower and sink was very inconsistent. It was either scorching hot, ice-cold or no water at all. Hard to take a decent shower. Money wise it's not the best but bearable for a short stay."
"The staff was really friendly, and the bedsheets were clean, which was nice. Also, the hotel has good transport links. However, I don’t think it was worth it for the price, as the hot water in the shower was extremely inconsistent and we could barely get in due to it either being piping hot or freezing cold. There were areas of the room which were quite unclean and needed to be attended to, including the bathroom floor which was dirty. Overall, if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay for 1-2 days and don’t plan on staying inside the hotel all day, this is a decent option for you, just don’t expect too much."
"I wish i could give it 0 stars. By far the worst property I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. I was also bitten throughout the night, I thought it may have been mosquitoes but could not hear any! I believe they have bed bugs, as the moment I got into bed I felt incredibly itchy and could feel something biting me. Also the furnishings are outdated, the bathroom was horrendous, shower was weak, there was a strong damp and weed smoking odour. It is not worth a fiver, dont fall for the cheap price, book a premierinn or travelodge!"
"My dad stayed in this hotel and it's nothing like the photos posted online. The room are very small and it barely has fresh air. Also, the hotel is basically located on top of a pub. However, the staff are really nice and very helpful and it's located very close to Stratford center."
