"Worse place ever to stay. There is mold growing inside on the toilet sink and a bad smell. A death took place here couple months ago and they need to be hold accountable for this. How they police have not got involved, I do not know. A resident who was staying there had to deal with it rather than the owner/manager of the hotel?! There is also no privacy in this hotel and no hygiene thats for sure. This hotel needs to be closed and should be under inspection."
"Me and my partner stayed in the Dockland lodge not too long ago, we was expecting a high standard hotel, the photos were definitely deceiving!! On arrival the place felt grotty and just generally unclean, the staff were awkward and weren’t professional at all, they didn’t seem to know what they was doing. No air con, to which we had a broken fan which i guess is better than nothing. The bathroom was the only good thing about the stay, and from reading other reviews were lucky we got a window!! It felt like a hostel as their was people walking around bare foot and hotel staff living in the facilities. I would not recommend this hotel to a rat, just don’t stay here you’ll be disgusted."
"Not bad for all intents and purposes. The shared bathroom thing I understand, but I wouldn't do it again. The room itself was small but very clean and tidy. I think some free water would go a long way. Breakfast was okay, however having fresh coffee would be nice, there is only bad quality instant. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
"Very good price/quality range. Rooms are tidy and clean. Unfortunately there was only a small roof window in the room but we knew that beforehand so it wasn't a big problem. We stayed here at the end of October, I'd assume that in summer this room would be quite hot. There is a fan but no AC. Bathroom (en suite) was also nice but some of the finishing wasn't of the highest level but nothing to really complain about. Staff is incredibly friendly and the breakfast is pretty good. There's cereal grains, croissants and an English breakfast you can get. The location is also good, 5 minutes from the metro station, and from there it's 15 minutes to the centre."
"When we were booking was unaware that some rooms had no windows. My sister did request to be moved to a room with a window and the request was granted. The shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Wasn't crazy about how the water from the shower would soak the entire bathroom floor. This proved to be dangerous for my daughter who slipped and fell when she went in to use the loo after someone had taken a shower. They did not serve the typical continental breakfast as expected. A nice hot breakfast was served upon request at no extra charge. Yummy:) On the morning my family and I left to go to Paris, a light breakfast, with juice was packed for all 9 of us to take with us. That was extremely thoughtful. This is a fairly new hotel and the night manager had asked what could be done to improve our stay. The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. I would just remember to request a room with a window since there is no air conditioning and July was really hot. I would recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel"
