Reviews
"Beware. Overpriced for what you get, and read carefully or you might end up booking a room with a shared bathroom with several other rooms. Our room smelled bad, and the shared bathroom was a bathtub… imagine sharing that with a bunch of strangers. We immediately left and booked a much nicer place down the road for not much more money. Worst and most deceiving experience I’ve ever had with a “hotel” - it should be called a hostel. Worst part? No refund, not even partial. Also, no elevator. Stay elsewhere. Many, many much better places around that are worth the little bit of extra money."
"It's a 2 star hotel so don't expect any luxuries however it does everything well at a fantastic price. Loved my short stay here"
"Loved this hotel. Excellent location. Very friendly owners and staff. Free coffee at all times. Good breakfast. For the price amazing value. Would definitely stay here again"
"We booked here as it's a 15 mins walk from kings cross, a 10 min walk into covent garden, and because the price was good. What we didn't expect was such a warm personable welcome from the owner. We travelled with two teenagers and stayed one night. We would definitely stay again."
"Owner and staff very friendly. Lovely breakfast. Beds very comfortable. By far the cleanest 2* accommodation we have stayed in, in and around London, in many years. En suite bathroom good size. Great location, easy walk into the West End theatre district and British museum, but also to main stations at King's Cross and St Pancras The biggest complaint was the loud voices early in the morning from guests, or maybe even resident staff (could not tell which), meaning it was impossible to sleep much beyond 07:30. If not for this, we would have rated this higher. Lack of plugs in bedroom. Lots of stairs to get to top floor, although we recognise this is a feature of these Victorian conversions. Finally, London 2* accommodation needs to become more competitively priced. The price was certainly not 2*, but more expensive"
