"When I arrived I realised I booked the wrong room. I wasn't aware there were room which entailed a shared bathroom. I contacted CitySpace, they told me there wasn't much they could do. Fine, that was my mistake for not checking before I booked. However, a staff member reached out called Kara, who mentioned someone cancelled their room so I was able to upgrade. This was a huge relief as am staying for 5 nights so a shared bathroom would not have been ideal. I also appreciate Kara reaching out to me to make me aware and offer me the upgrade. Saved my trip to be honest."
"Daylight robbery and terrible customer service. Due to the train strikes on the 1st, I was unable to use my room booked for 31st January. No refund available. However, rhey were happy for me to change date with an additional smaller fee (£20) over the phone, which I accepted and we agreed. I made plans for the day (Sunday) only to be called back informing me that it would cost be an additional £111! The initial fee was in a "deal" that wasn't apparent. I asked to speak to the manager multiple times and they refused. Having looked at prices for Sunday 5th, it was exactly the same as initially booked, not the £215 they quoted. Fleeced me out of £99, and tried greedily to take more. Do not book them."
"Great one night stay, perfect location to tube station and close to London Bridge. Check in and out was easy and you get a code for the room and front door which was really good. Rooms were very nice too with everything we needed, would recommend the en-suit room."
"We had a lovely stay here for boxing day. Being in Central London only 10m away from a bus stop, an underground and a small 5min walk from a sainsburrys there's nothing to complain about location wise. The staff was great, even let us check in 6 hours early to spare our otherwise tiring wait after the flight. Cleanliness is a number one priority here which was amazing, the daily clean ups and change of towels made our stay just that tad bit easier. Is it the biggest or most luxurious you'll get? No. but for this price range you won't be able to find much better! :)"
"Very upset with this hotel. The pictures show big spacious rooms we had a double bedroom which only just fit in the very small double bed and table and chair. I am disabled and brought my wheelchair and they put me on the top floor even after requesting for a lower floor and told them I’d have a wheelchair and they didn’t help or even respond to my request or situation. The hotel is very small and narrow stairs and my son age 16 had to carry all our luggage and my wheelchair up 3 flights of steep stairs while crying I had to get on my hands and knees to get up the stairs. When we arrived we were not greeted or spoken to the entire time we were here (3 days) and when we wanted to speak to someone we had to use the phone to which they didn’t pick up. I paid. I have been crying and it has spiked our trip and I’d advise against booking with them if you want a spacious room and any standard communication I’d advise against booking here. Ps the shared bathroom was filthy. Trying to fit in the wheelchair x2 suitcase And 2 hand luggage with no floor space was Impossible so we stacked them on the side table provided."
