"Rude, Negative and Aggressive Staff !! Will NEVER go there again. I visited Blackbird with a friend for spending some good time. Staff (Lady in Black uniform) wasn't able to find us a table but gave us a reserved table instead saying we will be moved to another table if guests arrive. Since then we were asked multiple times why we were sitting on a reserved table and we had to explain. Finally, a senior looking staff (Lady in Red uniform) asked us to leave the table immediately with a negative attitude. Well, we dint want to create a scene so, we switched to another ourselves and found a table luckily, no body helped us move. Later, I discussed with the person who offered the reserved table and She simply denied the fact that it was their offer to move us to another table. She further threatened to not to continue this discussion and raised question on why are we even having this discussion. She also then started cracking jokes about it with other staff members point to us. Gosh...Complete disaster of a lovely evening. You better come to this place only if you have a reserved table and be ready to enjoy under the fear of staff."
"We stopped here for breakfast. Completely underwhelmed to put it very politely. Very limited vegetarian options, if you're not looking for meat substitutes. Service was unfriendly, unhelpful and indifferent. Food came to the table cold. And for an English eatery they did not even have mustard. 2 thumbs down from me. Throwback to the reputation of English food of the past"
"Popped in here by chance when staying in London. Had a light bite, potted beef with homemade yorkshire pudding and gravy, absolutely delicious. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Enjoyed so much went there for a nightcap and for coffee in the morning. If you're in the area, pay them a visit you won't be disappointed"
"Great little pub. I always pop in when I'm in the area. Good selection of ales and fantastic food. Ideally situated close to a national express bus stop and the tube station. Get off the bus early have a drink and take the tube."
"Stopped by for breakfast, which The Blackbird is obviously popular for. Service and food were really good off a good breakfast menu. Prices pretty reasonable for the area and for London. If I was wanting to stay in the area again, I would certainly use The Blackbird for meals as a good standard provider. I'd also check out their rooms. Good. Impressed I have to admit!"
