"Really like this place. Comfortable and clean. Couple of things that didn't quite work well and they are minor. Could have done with knowing in advance that a small establishment like this will want to pre-authorise my card on arrival. That should be explained clearly in the booking process. And lastly, small detail, minimum cost: put cards next to the food at the breakfast buffet telling us what each item is. Then we can make an informed choice."
"First time at this hotel, stayed over for just 1 night. Stayed in a room on the B floor, 2 single beds, with a bath/shower - the bath plug was missing a seal so couldn’t use the bath. There was no switch for the radiator so it was on constantly & with been on the B floor we didn’t want to leave the windows open. The room only had a main light, no lamps. Bed was comfy and breakfast was included which was fine for what it was."
"Excellent location. Lovely comfortable bed. Really friendly staff. Breakfast was continental. Toast with jam cheese with ham cereal etc. Coffee from the machine was good. Really good hotel and exceptional prices. Smashing place really recommend we will be back."
"It was a 2 star bed and breakfast at best. There was no services, drinks in room were set with an old kettle and the cold tap water ran lukewarm....terrible! I would never recommend this and at £154 a night, I've definitely had my pants pulled down."
"Warning ⚠️ don’t book this hotel ! This is a terrible hotel ! Dirty , bath is broken , the room is extremely warm ! There is a super cheap fan that makes huge noise and doesn’t cold down for the room , really useless! Their Shampoo is really cheap one , Towels have holes ! I can’t believe on google this is a 4 stars hotel ???? This hotel is a total joke !!!! We booked it for 3 nights (2 adults and one kid) and we really felt uncomfortable didn’t slept well for the first night , second day in the morning we need to rush to our appointment so we have no time to tell them in the morning , we told them in the night but the worker told us there was no other room available for that night to make a change, so the second night we still need to stay in the same room. The second night we felt really uncomfortable and disgusting , our daughter had her hand full of dirt and dust after putting her hand under the bed which looked frankly like it had never been cleaned… so the third day in the morning we finally had the opportunity to talk to the manager and told us our concerns about all the problems of the room and therefore we wanted to cancel the third night and wanted a refund for that night. He acknowledged that there might had been some problems with our room (but didn’t seem concerned at all like it was a normal situation) so he proposed another room but we refused, that was already a too disappointing experience for us to stay another night in that place they call a hotel and we asked the refund instead. We didn’t believe the room they wanted us to move in would be better than this (and we were right after seeing all the awful comments on google)! Manager went crazy and started yelling at us and playing reversing roles like he was the victim in this story and like if we had started yelling first when we didn’t and stayed polite until my husband started responding on the same tone. That guy is a true mobster, he coerced us to accept a deal: writing a letter to prove that had no responsibility in this story and then we would get our money back! We agreed since we just wanted our money back and wanted to get over it quick… After packing, when we do check out , another rude woman coworker at reception told us just write down the email address and they will send us the receipt later because Manager is in a meeting. We knew at that moment they were trying to screw us so we stayed 10 long minutes in front of the front desk until finally the gangster manager came out of his office. He gave us the ticket without any look or word, a true inhuman guy with way too much ego and no compassion! This is the worst experience in hotel for me by far!!!!"
