The Queens Park Hotel 48 Queensborough Terrace, London W2 3SJ

"This is a very standard 3* hotel in a good London location. The room was very clean and as spacious as I expected. Bed comfortable. Shower good. Service was excellent - check in and check out very easy. Cons: there is no UK plugs near the bed, only European ones which I found weird and inconvenient. The curtains serve no purpose and don't block out light at all. Room temperate quite difficult to control and AC wasn't effective."

"The bedroom/hotel needs to be updated. The sink/cooker in the bedroom needs to be removed! It's just a prop and was not that clean. The bathroom kept on making a weird noise. There was no shower gel. The corridor was dirty and creepy.. On the positive note the staff were friendly and helpful. As a female I would not stay there alone. To be honest I would not stay here again. Breakfast was not worth it. The coffee was horrible, I had to throw it way,. My advice is to have your breakfast else where. Location is great."

"I don't get it. If I were in the position to own a hotel such as this one in a location as central as this one, I would make it my life task to keep it in good condition and to make sure, my guests are pleased. The rooms we got were a joke - not at all like the ones shown on the pictures. The breakfast was almost inedible. Sausages, eggs and mushrooms NOT cooked properly - just warmed up. No bacon. Coffee from the machine gave me the trots. Sink and shower were clogged, shower extremely scmall. I highly recommend to go look for a different hotel."

"Offered basement rooms with no open window. Paid £356 for 2 rooms for 1 night. We were offered room on 3rd floor. I use a rollator which had to be carried up and down stairs. The room was tiny and air con not brilliant. Tiny window. Would not recommend as not good value for money at all. Wish I had paid a bit more for a better hotel o"

"The hotel had no running water for the first 24h we were there, and they did nothing to compensate us. No bottled water, no discount on the room, nothing. The rooms themselves are tiny (even by London standards), mould in the showers. The hotel has a million doors so all you hear is the sound of slamming doors all night. Normally this hotel is a good deal, but we were being charged double since it was the weekend of the London marathon. The location is sort of convenient to Paddington Station if you don't have too much luggage."
