"We booked a room in October 2022 for July 2023 and now (February 2023) the hotel has cancelled our reservation since "the directors have taken the decision to close the hotel till end of 2023". Zero efforts were made to relocate us to another Holiday Inn hotel which is the least I would have expected. Similar alternatives are now almost double the price (which is why be booked so early). Really a huge let down from a hotel chain that I thougt was trustworthy."
"Booked this hotel 2 months ago on Expedia for a concert at Wembley in June, received an email a few days ago saying they've cancelled my booking and now I have had to rebook somewhere else which is further from Wembley and more expensive as everywhere is booked up. Furthermore I had to contact Expedia for the refund rather than them contacting Expedia, no compensation for the inconvenience,"

"Booked a room at a good price back in November 21 for a gig at Wembley in August 22. Hotel sent me an email on 26th May 2022 saying they have cancelled my booking and unable to transfer it anywhere else. So have now had to book an alternative hotel in a less convenient location at over 3x the price. Not what I expect from a well established chain!"
"The room smelled filthy and dirty. The sheets on bed felt not clean and fresh at all, smelled of ciggarettes. The bathroom wasn't clean and also smelled terribly (pee-like). The soaps were not refilled. The staff forgot about our breakfast both of the days we stayed. The only options in breakfast were sugary snacks, no warm options. No slippers. We also needed additional 30 minutes on the leaving day but eventhough the hotel was pretty empty we just heard a cold 'no'. Pretty sad for nearly £100 a night. Not recommended at all."
