"Completely full of asylum seekers, paying guests shouldn't be subject to this without being informed of the situation beforehand. What limited food there was was terrible and served unhygenically without serving tonges and milk straight out of a tesco plastic bottle. Shocking place, never again, stay clear."
"Great little hotel perfect for tube and nice village feel to area, brilliant value for money for q London Hotel. Great night's sleep comfy beds and quiet. Would have given 5 stars if I hadn't been on top floor"
"Upon arrival at the hotel, we were excited to find a nice, quaint room with a modern, clean bathroom and ample facilities. All hopes were quickly dashed the following morning, when we found out that the planned roadworks outside the hotel (which we were not informed about) had accidentally burst the water mains. This left the entire hotel without water for over 14 hours on the second day of our stay. This was part of a planned fibre broadband upgrade in the area, which the hotel would have inevitably known about, and yet still didn't notify customers. Of course we appreciate that this is beyond the hotel's control, however had we have known, we may have considerd booking elsewhere - A head's up would've been the bare minimum in my opinion. I say this as I was up all hours on some night to the delightful sounds of workers jackhammering away the asphalt - I have video footage of this occurring, sometimes as late as 11:30pm in the night. Additonally, regarding the no-water issue, when we notified hotel reception, we were met with a cold response along the lines of "This isn't our issue to deal with". The solution offered to us was to walk 500m down the road in 0 degree weather to a sister hotel, in order to just be able to use the toilet, let alone shower. When we asked if we could please be moved to the other hotel (which did have availability - we checked), we were told "Definitely not". After this incident, the hotel staff were extremely unpleasant towards myself and my friend after we told the hotel that this was simply unacceptable for paying customers, even going so far as to roll their eyes and scoff in response to my friend asking for some clean towels at reception later on that day. I didn't dare ask for another thing - Unprofessional and inconsiderate behaviour. Thank goodness we only had one more night there when this unfolded. Stay a country mile away."
"Everything feels really cheap (and it is!). It's really noisy, extremely dirty and dusty. Breakfast is a real joke. I've stayed here for a whole week I've never been able to eat anything because the space is too small and there is nothing to eat, just toasts and juice, nothing else. Avoid at all cost."
"Lots of negatives bout this hotel, but I found it OK for the place and location, room was very clean and tidy, bathroom was immaculately clean. Bed was fresh and clean. Slept OK, apart from the road noise, single glazed windows. My only concern was the sleep narrow staircase, not good of your on the top floor with suitcases. And the obvious concern if there was a fire. Overall if you want cheap accommodation in a great location, this was it."
