"Pros: •Quiet and peaceful location in the Epping forest •flexible term Cons (everything else): • receptionist Sonya is rude and not helpful. Other receptionists are nice though •room card stops working every other day so had to ask the receptionist to activate it every day •rooms are in poor condition. Huge spider webs, yellow stains on mattresses, “new” bedsheets and curtain. Toilet flush button didn’t work etc •lift is dangerous and old. Lift doors can squeeze you while leaving the lift. •Very poor connection. Couldn’t receive and make calls. 4G in that area also doesn’t work properly so you have fully rely on hotel wi-fi which can stop working for whole night. It happed multiple times already. • rooms are not taken care of. Hotel needs complete renovation."
"After breaking down in the area I found this hotel, A Sonya was on reception and I found her very polite and professional giving me clear instruction to my room, The room was very clean and tidy and I had a good nights sleep feeling relaxed the next day. I would highly recommend this hotel the price was reasonable and the staff were friendly and polite. set in a forest its peaceful but also close to the m11 motorway and the north Circular.,"
"Was an ideal choice for a one night stop over. Good parking facilities, room very clean and well laid out. First room we checked in to had a very strong sense of someone smoking in the air. Had to change rooms, but this was not an issue with staff who dealt with this issue quickly and promptly. Bar and restaurant area adequate and very dog friendly. Would stay here again when in the area."
"Very happy with out stay here. All staff were friendly helpful and efficient. Room was clean and warm .breakfast staff went out their way to help my partner when i was not there to help her ( she uses a walking stick ) the lady who cleaned and tidied our room was great and the reception staff friendly and helpful. its a nice touch that the hotel provide both bed and bowls for dog owners like ourselves at no extra charge . There was no problems with Internet speed or connectivity. Thank you for our enjoyable stay"
