"Booked this place november for a week and came from 3000 km far away. When there no one opened the door. When called why no one opens they said its closed. Got inside of Dead End and there were people listening music loud and partying. When get someone on the phone those people just said we havent reservation and hung up the phone. Called about 15 times and only two answer and both ended a hung up. Customer service is horrible and the big rooms supposed to have ovens but they dont even work. I dont recommend this place for anyone."
"I couldn't find the property, I had to contact the staff and they told me the property had moved, staff member Azizur met us and brought us around the corner to the property. The property was labelled the apartments and not Greens End house who I had booked with. When checking in he asked me if I would like to pay by cash or card and I said card, he stated that his colleague had the card machine and that cash would be the preferred option. I got settled in the room and came downstairs 10mins later with the cash, I handed it over and asked for a receipt, Azizur stated he would get me a receipt and he would leave it on my bed later, I asked for the receipt at the time of the transaction and explained to him that I was handing alot of money over and I wanted evidence of it, he held on to the money and presented as confrontational and stated he wouldn't ask me for the cash again, I asked him what he meant by this and I told him that I had originally wanted to pay by card, he reluctantly gave me my money back and stated his colleague would be at the property in around 15mins and would bring the card machine. I thanked him and returned to my room. I came down around 20mins later with my partner and Azizur stated his colleague hadn't returned yet and he was typing up a reciept. I asked him if the property has WIFI and he stated no, I stated it said on the website available upon request and showed him the description of the property on my phone, at this point Azizur became very argumentative and unprofessional, he stated that didn't mean anything and that we had requested it and the answer was no, during this time Azizur was raising his voice, he stated the WIFI had not been set up yet as it was a new property, I told him I wasnt contacted by them to say the location of the property had moved and I would have appreciated a notification, he stated he doesnt have time to contact customers and cancel bookings because he is busy as he "works from 9 to 12". He stated he never gets complaints and that we were the first to complain and he asked me to leave the keys on the bed and go, I clarified that he was kicking us out and he stated yes, I asked him on what grounds and he stated "because you are not good people." I told him I thought the room was lovely but I am allowed to ask questions and give feedback as it is a service that is being provided. He raised his voice at us and wouldn't let us speak. My partner stated he was ringing the police, while he was on hold to the metropolitan police, Azizur made a phonecall and spoke in a different language. He then printed my receipt and took the cash off me, we clarified with him that everything was ok and he nodded his head and refused to speak to us. The receipt stated we paid a deposit so he printed a new reciept that said payment instead. Azizur was very unprofessional, intimidating and childish. That was the worst customer service I have ever recieved. The property was not finished getting renovations, there was wifi routers sitting throughout the building, a smell of paint and a sound of DIY at times in the morning. There was a flat screen TV located in bedroom but it wasn't connected to an aerial which made it useless and it is listed as a facility the property offers. There was a skylight window but it was out of sight to be able to open or see the view. I felt very uncomfortable during my stay and I couldn't relax becaude it felt like we were going to be scammed due to change of location and staff's attitudes around the payment process. Each time we left the hotel we were anxious when passing the front desk as we were made to feel unwelcome and we were anxious when returning to the property as we didn't know what we were coming back to and we wereso concerned about our belongings that we left them sitting a certain way and photographed them. We were made to feel like second class citizens."
"Greens End House was not what I expected as it had no bathroom inside of the room but the place was spotless there was a shared bathroom between 2 or 3 other rooms in the corridor. There was towels in the bedroom. The bedroom was small but had everything required. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Even giving a courtesy call to make sure I had arrived safely and found nearby parking alright. We had a lovely time, the bed was comfy so had a good night's sleep. The parking was a 5 minute walk away and had no problems. There was plenty amenities around to buy food, clothes ect."
"If I could put 0 star I would! Staff were completely unreasonable, I was not able to stay due to unforeseen circumstances and I was still charged the full price, fair enough it was the cancellation fee but a gesture of goodwill would have been great. Customer service was poor. At another hotel I have been given back my money when I was unable to stay regardless of cancellation fee which made me think that all hotels were professional but No! I lost my money and they don’t even care because they’re happy that they have it."
"Service is absolutely appalling. I was late for check in due to train issues from Yorkshire and apon calling the desk at arrival i was told i can't check. When questioned as to the fact I had already paid the night the phone clerk hung up and would not re answer. This is a shambles and nothing more than robbery. £100 odd down the tube because he was to lazy to wake up and give me my key card. To top it off the premier inn which was super helpful but fully booked meant I spent the night sleeping on the street even though I had paid for a hotel."
