"They have changed their practice on air fresheners, and now most rooms have an overwhelmingly strong cheap air freshener smell, and no possibility of opening the window. The staff is great, the breakfast is delicious, but i will not stay there ever again because of the smell. This will only bother people with sensitive noses, like me, or pregnant women. Most people I know would not be bothered. I had to actually change a room. I'd rather avoid this drama and stay elsewhere."
"All the way to the east and just outside Zone 1, which is fine because the 2 major stations about a block away that take you to central London where all the tourist spots are. The hotel itself is nice. The front desk is actually downstairs and the staff is very friendly. I had a day trip to France and was coming back to the same hotel and asked if I could keep 2 baggages there because it was silly if me to take everything for a 1 day's trip. They didn't hesitate and gladly held it for me. The breakfast is also wonderful. One side has your full English breakfast and the other side has your coffee, tea, pastries, etc. I'm not picky about breakfast. As long as I see there is cereal or a bagel available, I'm happy with that. Granted you have to pay approx $30 or so more, it was a buffet so you're getting your money's worth. The rooms were clean, a tad bit small, but my mom and I were there mainly to sleep, shower and leave so it was fine. There are tons of food choices to choose from (Turkish, Pakistani, Bengali, etc) and if you love foods from there, this is your place to be. I'm planning to return in August and will 100% be staying here again."
"Good location and good value hotel. Rooms are surprisingly quiet considering it's on a main arterial route. Bed is firm and comfortable, bathroom is a good size with proper sized towels instead of teeny scraps of fabric! Shower had good but not strong pressure and was clear of limescale and gunk which is always a winner. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, check in was quick and straightforward. Only issue was the air con in the room didn't work - window didn't open so there was a lack of air circulation."
"If you want to stay in London and are after quality for an affordable price this is your location. I stayed here for work only one night but that's all I needed to write a glowing review for an excellent location. It is a 10 Min walk from the Elizabeth line which is direct from most major London train stations. There are plenty of shops adjacent to the venue so if you forgot anything then you're perfectly placed. The rooms have everything you need with plenty of space. There is an outstanding rooftop bar, which is fully stocked serving nibbles should you want any. The dining area is again a lovely place to find yourself. The staff are fantastic, and genuinely take pride in their hotel, which was a pleasure to see. Whoever owns that venue, I hope you read this and use it to commend your people because they absolutely deserve it. If I had a gripe which I really don't but if I had one, it would be the water pressure. It's not fantastic but by no means detracts from the pleasure I had staying here. If I ever find myself in London again, this is 100% my venue, I would recommend this place all day long. Thank you for a lovely experience."
"This has easily become my new favourite place to stay in London. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (and actually look exactly like on the website)! When checking in I got a kind upgrade to a corner room and let me tell you, that made the stay 100% better — at night, the skyline gave total New York vibes & at sunset, the golden sun rays filled the room (check picture Nº 8 for proof, haha)! The staff are super friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and overall, the stay was really really great value for money! 100% recommended ♥️ Can’t wait to be back!"
