"A basic hotel room, mind the stairs!, clean, right in Mayfair. Main shopping 5 minutes' walk, at £120 room rate for two, what's not to like? Whingers like to grizzle - here, you pay for basic and get reliable."
"We didn’t have a good experience here, unfortunately. Very noisy and uncomfortable room."
"Family stay - (this is an aparthotel), the manager assigned us a room just above a bar-restaurant from where the music sounded every night from 10 pm until morning - (impossible to sleep, the children cry all night because of the noise), in the morning very tired and therefore were forced to cancel some activities to be able to sleep during the day -the bar manager does not want to hear anything - Impossible to change of room, the manager will say that he was not informed by his receptionist of the situation and that it was necessary to see him in person to change you room and then disappears mysteriously. Other customers at the same level have suffered the same fate. A real nightmare to avoid. I was flattered like you by the other positive comments about this hotel but the reality I lived pushed me to contact Booking in order to have my right of expression and to alert you in turn."
"Stayed in room 28, it was clean and the bathroom was a pretty colour but my only problem was that the small wall light next to the bed was not functional. The bed is sort of hard but bearable. There is also no hand towel but that's not a big problem because there is a bath towel. Lastly, this is not something that affected my rating but more a warning to other guests but if the people in the room across from yours are talking you WILL hear it."
"DO NOT STAY HERE! Check in was great, it seemed all was well. Then, we got our room. It seems like the room was last updated in the past century. Mildew covering the shower and floors, along with poky spring beds and a single stiff shower towel. There was NO AC, which wouldn’t have been that much of an issue if the fans they provided has been manufactured later than 1960 (seriously). Lugging our suitcases up three flights of stairs, to get to a suite with no amenities or east access was certainly a struggle as well. Finally, the BIGGEST BEWARE was the Wi-Fi provided. Free Wi-Fi is provided, although the fastest speed I measured was 1mb/s. It also disconnected every five minutes when it actually worked. The only way to get fast, reliable Wi-Fi is to PURCHASE it. Highly recommend not visiting, you can use your money on a better hotel in a better location. We will not be back."
