"Eileen's guest house was nice, she is lovely and will look after you, in a nice quiet part of London which is what you need, would definitely stay there again"
"Eileen's Guest House was in just the place we wanted to be in Muswell Hill and at the right price for our budget. The guest house accommodates quite a few guests and the stairs are fairly steep (which did not bother us). I suppose I'd describe Eileen's guest house as cheap and cheerful rather than luxurious - eg you might get a bit of noise from adjacent guests or outside and breakfast is in a smallish kitchen so you need to be prepared to live in a shared space - hence the 4*s rather than 5. The room was clean and well maintained and provided all we needed. In the room: Tea-bags (no coffee) + kettle + mugs, towels, nice big flat screen TV, hot & cold running water in room, plenty of space in room. Nice shaving mirror - something I always appreciate. No Wi-Fi as far as I know, but we did not require it. We were a family of three in a room on the top (third) floor with a shared toilet and shared shower room. It was a little warm in our room due to the sunny June weather and with a 3 story drop outside, opening the big windows presented a potential hazard to our small boy but my wife rigged something up to allow one of the windows to open (but not too far) while the others, we kept locked (Eileen had a key). We slept pretty comfortably. Most importantly, Eileen was very friendly and most accommodating to our special dietary and other needs when we told her about them in advance. We had an early cooked breakfast (eggs, range of cereals, toast & marmalade etc) and she let us put our special goat-milk & goat-butter in her fridge. We'd happily stay there again."
