"Convenient location being very close to Earls Court station and a variety of cafés and restaurants, but the room was ridiculously small with no space for anything more than a single medium sized bag."
"This was a poor way to start our honeymoon. Taxi driver was almost unable to identify the drop-off because of the construction which happens 0800-1700 during the week. No help getting our bags inside. The room itself was lackluster, at best. There wasn't even room to unpack our bags and walk from the bed to the bathroom. The staff requires some serious customer service training and couldn't be bothered to handle even the most basic inquiries. If you're planning a visit soon, while their renovation is underway, seriously search for other accommodations. Area and proximity to everything else was fine but, again, not worth it. Upon checkout, we received no assistance in getting transport while 3 staff members sat there having personal conversations. Thin walls so you can hear the neighbor's phone conversations, unsecured windows, and accommodations so small that you won't have room to maneuver, make this an absolute subpar place to stay. Poor performance from management and staff."
"I checked in today and was shocked that the hotel is being refurbished. I can't see the hotel as it looks like a construction site. It's not worth the price I've paid for a long stay - don't want to stay here even one night and still can't get a refund!!!! Smelly room, very tiny toilet (can't move in the toilet), no restaurant, no microwave, no public area (only 2 small chairs next to the receptionist). If you check in early, you'll need to leave your luggage(s) with the receptionist. The lift (there is only one lift) can fit only two people with two luggages. I can't see the view from the window as it's blocked by the refurbishment (again, imagine you staying inside a construction site). No duty manager. I'm so worried about my safety here! The receptionist, Olivia keeps saying it's too late to contact the manager to resolve this issue and doesn't know what to do. This is the worst service and hotel I've ever stayed in."
"We booked a king room. The room they put us in was on the first floor very very small, probably a double bed. There was no decor, the window in the bathroom wouldn't close and the handle was falling off. It was a cold rainy night but the heater didn't work. The bed was against the wall so whoever sleeps on the right side has to crawl over the person on the left side or scoot out the foot of the bed to get in/out of bed... We could literally lay in the middle of the bed and touch the walls on either side the room was that small. There were wires hanging down from behind the TV and there was no where to put our luggage. We called the front desk asking about the heat and were told they maintenance would check it the next day. We said the room was so small, we weren't comfortable and quite disappointed with the accommodations. They next day the front desk rang us up and offered to move us to a "bigger room". They moved us to a room on the second floor in the back. It was quiet and there was space on either side of the bed to get in/ out easily... the building is under renovation and noisy with construction noise from 8-5 during the week. We were happier with the second room but still freaked about about the first room they stuck us in."
"We didn't know the hotel was under construction, Room was tiny, not a king size bed, bathroom was a hazard with high tub wall, slippery tub floor and half glass enclosure so water went all over the floor. Staff though was excellent ... when we got to the room ... fan didn't work (he replaced it), TV didn't work (was fixed), bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, a bedside light didn't work."
