"I’ve generally had a good experience with Goodcare Practice. Yes sometimes they are very busy but that’s with all dr’s at the moment. I’ve had very good care for my children and would recommend anyone who is looking for a good surgery to try Goodcare Practice."
"I would like to draw attention to the abysmal care received from this Practice, Reception This deserves to be noted, what's expected from a "good care" General Practitioners office. My sympathies for the strain we are all facing these days however I cannot sit and let this slack continue, unrecognised. Me & my sister who share / manage our grandmother's health care responsibilities had an ordeal attempting to arrange nans most recent GP appointment without disclosing too much of her health conditions and retaining private details. I'd hope that in sharing the experience better action can be taken next time. after several days, of failing to get through for an appointment with the doctor. due to restrictive procedures being that same day appointments for the day of, can only be made at 8.30 am only. Which is Typical most Practice's apply this procedure. I understand, however it's also typical to get urine samples sorted in most surgery's with out it being a monumental achievement. So morning calls become an impossible task in itself with the abhorrent waiting list times, ranging no lower than 35th on the list. In order to speak to reception. , then personally you attend reception because there unobtainable over phone, staff offers zero forethought for the patient or their ailments. And sets there agenda to you refusing to assist without an appointment. Plus leading coercion to leave the building unsatisfied in what's required which was a urine sample tested. Unresolving situations, no establishing next steps to be taken. & Your left feeling a lack of confidence, trust or assurance that patients well-being is met. Advance appointments are always a fortnight's wait time minimum! Most health issues require intervention before the 14day time lapse, by the time you can sense the illness present. In our case The next day after visiting the Surgery Reception only in person on behalf of the patient, I received a phone call mid morning from a doctor whose advise is to have her elderly patient attend a&e under this climate, and endure a perilous journey outside while being non independent housebound and requires a lot of mobility assistants i.e wheel chair accessible vehicle, help standing. the very last thing she needed was to wait around hospital waiting rooms for hours in a confused state. fortunately we manage to take nan to the walk in centre at ealing hospital but I can't help feel this was an un necessary strain on my 86 year old nan, go to the hospital and sit in her wheel chair all day. To receive a dose of antibiotics for uti ..the GPs passed the buck on this occasion"
"If I have 0 star then I give 0 to them. These people are not loyal towards their work. If you call them for book an appointment. They ask if you have this problem there is no medicine of this and unluckily if i have same situation call to ambulance they recommend to GP then next day they arrange emergency telephonic appointment. The receptionists think we are doctors over here. We know each and everything. I don’t recommend this GP to anyone even for International students dear please don’t register to GPs they don’t look after you. If you face any severe issue please directly call to 999."
"Very poor as trying for weeks to get tests for Urine infection that was treated without tests or even swing me in person! Received a msg saying that I have an urinary infection and I should collect medication from pharmacy without speaking to my doctor! Very difficult to get any appointment and the receptionist do not listen constantly talking over me without understanding the issues! Very bad in considering my needs/ issue’s they don’t listen , I constantly need to battle with them to see my doctor in person, only been told calls or nurses… In pain and very stressed when I need to call them always excuses!"
"Worst surgery ever. Dr’s don’t have any patience to listen to their patients so as receptionists. They never ever offer face to face appointments. Covid-19 is just an excuse for this surgery, doctors never advise anything. I’ve really bad experience with them suffered a lot with 3yo because of this rubbish surgery. Mostly you don’t get a call from dr but health assistant even if you mention at reception that you need an appointment with doctor."
