"Had a phone appointment that I waited weeks for at 11 today. Dr Kamil failed to call me although I reserved a 1 hour window in order to have enough time for this appointment. I missed one call while I was at work at half past one with a voicemail from the GP that didn’t even apologise for wasting my time after waiting weeks for the appointment. All he said was “If you still need me rebook your appointment.”. Of course I need my appointment! Don’t book people in at a specific time if you decide to ring nearly 3 hours later. The reception staff are lovely, but the doctors never fail to disappoint. Will definitely be changing surgery this week and I should have done it long time ago. Extremely disappointed! PS: Also had my son struggling for over 6 months now with breathing issues which the doctors refused to take serious to the point that we ended up with him hospitalised with lung infection and asthma symptoms. All the other doctors that checked him complained that his GPs should not restrict a child from vital treatment and allow him to suffer for so long. He currently has inhalers that we get prescribed from the hospital as Dr Ahmed refused to prescribe as he said he doesn’t believe in asthma. Save yourself time and find a good GP. This one is clearly not it sadly."

"Getting an appointment is feel like you won a lottery. It took me two months to get my Asthma prescription did some tests six months ago and haven't heard back since then. Kids are seriously sick but they gave appointment for end of next week. The phone line is always busy, email doesn't get responded. I really feel like banging my head to a brick wall."

"The new telephone system is beyond terrible . Had tried for days to get through on the phone with no joy . 2 hours plus each time . Submitted online forms and did not have a response within the time given , I have made many attempts to speak to people via the phone since this system was introduced . The online system will be swamped due to this phone issue . Today a further phone attempt , took 1 hour to go from 9 to 3 in call queue , then another hour and 5 minutes from 3 to 1 but it still wasn’t my turn ; in desperation a relative took me to the surgery . There was a queue outside of patients experiencing the same thing . The lady in reception was very helpful , caring and respectful ,explained there is an issue with phone system she is trying to resolve & did what she could to help.unfortunately I needed to call surgery back later .Only 40 minutes this time and actually got through ! This time a different receptionist - very Unhelpful and dismissive . I would like her to note using madam or ma’am in a sentence in the way she does , does not convey politeness or respect . It is actually rudeness dressed up as false courtesy . I have never experienced anything like this from this surgery - responsiveness , compassion , efficiency and respect has always been 100% . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them any other time . The phone system and this one person is letting it down right now. - when dealing with people who feel unwell , anxious and frustrated because of their new phone system it’s not a good look !"
