"Having never used a designer before I was a little wary it might be bit like a "60 minute makeover" with someone putting their own interpretations and ideas over mine. It could not have been more different! Lucy was great from start to finish. She really listened to me, what I liked, and didn't like, took the time to understand how I wanted to use the space and got a sense of my style and taste and the overall look I wanted to achieve. While she did introduce patterns and concepts I would not have considered without her guidance, she quickly picked up on my responses and together we found the right ones for me. I have been much braver than I would have been on my own, but I trusted Lucy and the results are fabulous. The project covered 3 rooms of my house - kitchen, playroom and large living room with dining area. It was a mix match of furniture we had gathered over the years and I wanted to finally have things that matched, looked good but we were functional for our family. And what would have taken me ages pouring over websites and colour charts was a quick and painless process. I don't have a lot of spare time so having Lucy to do all the leg work was fabulous! The workmanship of the blinds/pelmets/curtains from measuring up to fitting has been superb and far exceeds anything we’ve had previously.
