"Prelet Furniture were recommended to me by my letting agent. I was looking at furnishing a newly purchased rental property, so based on the recommendation I decided to give them a go. I had so many problems with the order that I wish I hadn't used them in the first place.They advertise that they deliver their furniture the next day. I have to say they dragged my order for about a whole month. I placed my order online and didn't get any out of stock notifications. I had a call the next day that the one of the items that I ordered was out of stock and they could not deliver it. Then another item from my order was the only stock left which is faulty. They could not deliver it until at least 3-5 working days. They couldn't even confirm if their suppliers had it in stock. I had also ordered and paid for a three door wardrobe, but they delivered a two door wardrobe instead. Anyone's guess why...I was lucky enough to go to the property to notice this as the property being a managed rental property I may not have even known they delivered the wrong item. I called them to complain and ask for the three door wardrobe being delivered instead asap, they arranged supposedly for the next day. They had every single excuse under earth every day why the correct wardrobe could not be delivered that day and eventually delivered it after about a week and it was still faulty (it had a scratch on the front). I spoke to the letting agent complaining about my experience and the letting agent was straight on the phone to them numerous times. They promised to give me a small discount to compensate me about my experience that will show on my credit card between 3 to 5 working days. Of course that did not happen. I called them, my letting agent called them and eventually after about 20 days they made a refund. However the refund they made was of course less than what they had promised initially. My letting agent was again on the phone to them. Prelet finally called me to discuss and promised to refund the difference straight away. To this date I'm still waiting for this to happen. Everytime I called I spoke to someone who and I quote "I'm quite new here, I don't know" It took numerous calls and so much time and effort, so I have to say that I will not be using them again. I will also not recommend them to anyone. It cost me money in lost rent as I could not advertise the property with the furniture I hoped was going to be in place the next day after my order. The are not very reliable and I don't recommend anyone going through this experience."
