"We are utterly disappointed with the customer service and quality control of the product from Heals. We ordered a very expensive bed months ago and have had nothing but issues after issues with the delivery and assembly, with zero interest in rectifying or compensation from the company. We have multiple issues with delivery service and now a faulty assembly. We are left without a bed and no one from the organisation is even remotely concerned with providing assistance. We frankly had a better service going with a basic brand at 1/3 the cost and this is ridiculous given the premium pricing. Our customer service told us she’s out of office and won’t look into this matter until she returns in 4 days. DO NOT BUY from HEAL’S unless you are ready for paying premium prices for the headache of poor quality control and lack of customer service. You are better off with other cheaper brands."
"Poor Quality Product and Hopeless Customer Service We purchased a tripod lamp and shade from Heals. Could have opted for the cheap copy form Habitat, but thought we should spend well over £300 to buy the real deal. Well, it turns out the lamp stand is not made of hardwood as the description inferred. It is a softwood that is stained, and in our case stained very badly. Second rate Chinese rubbish - absolute con. And then it takes over 3 weeks for them to organise a collection and refund, but even then they initially do not refund the delivery charge, even though the item was faulty. Hopeless lack of attention. I must have made 6 calls and 5 emails trying to sort out the post purchase debacle. And no suggestion of a 'sorry' or good will gesture. Shocking. And not at all high end. Be warned!"
"Whilst the sofa we bought is fine (other than the fault and after service outlined below); the after service with dealing with the fault on our sofa has been very poor. We registered that the sofa’s button was missing/cracked on the day of receiving the sofa - it’s now a month and Heal’s have not responded to various emails or got back to us with a date for an ‘engineer’ after calling. Basically - product ok but you’re taking your chances if there’s an issue following receipt. Not really what you expect given this is not an inexpensive purchase and the various PR on offering good service."
"Such a shame as they sell lovely products but the sales lady and manger I spoke with today needed a crash course in customer service and how to be friendly. The sales lady was rude and had a short appraisive style to speaking to customers. When the manager came out it wasn’t much better….I mean If your buying something you at least want the person to be friendly. They were just rude and not sales people at all!! Zero sales, communication or buying vibe there at all just a helping of can’t be asked to listen to anything. I just thought their comments were rude and not even something you’d say to someone you don’t like and then to speak in a different language is rude!!! Make their lives easier and don’t go in… And high streets wonder why people shop online."
"TLDR; excellent place for inspiration for interior design with surprisingly lots of affordable smaller items. Only down side is the overly aggressive sales staff. If you need some inspiration for redecorating then this is the place to come. A good variety of designer items and styles on show here. The interior is multi floor and surprisingly big. Furnitures are pricey but for good reason. There is something for everyone too, smaller bric-a-brac items are often on sale and affordable. The only downside is the overly aggressive sales assistants. Not all but there were a few very keen staff over selling. Good experience otherwise."
