"Have been into Habitat twice this week looking for sofas having been let down by DFS. All the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, we would have purchased our sofa here but the models we liked were not available. The staff were not pushy and didn’t try to get a sale which is so different from other stores. Would highly recommend and would have bought from here if they had more choice available"
"Fantastic costumer service. I found very hard shop for furniture online without actually see how it looks, so we went there to have a look at sofas and found the one we wanted."
"Not what it used to be, less stock in the showroom, mostly large goods on display ( A couple of beds and sofas. Only a few rugs) No bedding, towels, crockery etc to purchase. Not the Habitat I knew and loved. Is there any point remaining open if half hearted? Tottenham Court Road Habitat has closed permantly and Finchley Road Habitat is now empty. What a shame, i loved Habitat :("
"I was very impressed with furniture and design. I came across Habitat for the first time and would highlyrecommend for people who are into design and quality of the furniture. Service is nice. Overall i had a good experience visiting the store and will definitely come back. The store is located right above the john lewis parking."
"Welcome back Habitat. You've been sadly missed. I'm not sure l like all the furniture stores being sited together in the new extension vying for attention best John Lewis. It seems overpowered by its neighbours Heals. However stalwart favourites like durable ceramics, robust picture frames in varying sizes that will show off your posh print, or movie poster are clearly in evidence alongside unique upholsterers chairs and sofas. Their rugs are colourful, well constructed and worth waiting until there's a sale, to purchase. If you're lucky there will be discounted ends of lines too. Their beautiful wooden toys and Xmas decorations can become family heirlooms if you look after them. They are going to have to work harder on their window displays to persuade casual footfall to come in. They have hefty competition from stores like West Elm who do a furious trade in homewards and plants. This Habitat needs to do an internal audit of its layout and learn to show off its wares to its best advantage."
