"Outstanding! I had a 5 day stay on Birch ward in Liverpool heart and chest, and I will always be so grateful for the care & treatment I received here after my multiple cardiac arrests in December 2022. I'm 26 years old, had never had to stay a night in hospital before, equally had never had any surgery or even stitches for that matter, so I was very frightened at first. I had to have an ICD fitted which was very daunting... however all consultants, surgeons, nurses, doctors, chefs, porters, cleaners... every individual there where friendly, informative and reassuring. Nothing was too much to ask, everything was pristine, the food was incredible and they cater for all dietary requirements with plenty of options. I felt very comfortable, safe and assured during my entire time at LHCH. AMAZING!"
