"I found this school not be welcoming environment not helpful at all. What i witnessed i can only say, if you are of a bame community or of other faith then its not for you thats how it seems. I saw at first-hand how a heavily pregnant women was treated by staff she was bame how she was denied access as she struggled to go across the yard to get access. Not alllowed but told to go round in an abrut way. I wont recommend this school to anyone especially from bame backgrounds unfortunately. Big no"
"I went to school and have disabilities and require adjustments, and Mr Rodger’s and Mrs Mulaffar and Mrs Fox all three of them made me feel so low as I started getting sciatica pain and asked to open main gate so I could get to my car easier but descriminated me because of my disability and refused to do so and reason was children safety but have done the same twice in past. Where was children safety then? Why wasn’t that thought of when opened gate twice previously? I was made to feel so low and my self respect was broken to small pieces. I made a complaint to headteacher Mrs Mckeown and she apologised for her staff and offered an alternative but did not say anything if enhancing her staffs training or providing her staff with knowledge on disabilities and not to descriminate anyone that has unseen disabilities. Deffo upset and hurt by this action of the school staff and when took this further and left an envelope for Ruth the chief executive of governors, Mrs Fox said she won’t get this till 2 months later just so she could cover up the issue for two months. This has left me feeling traumatised witn schools behaviour, gave me endless sleepless nights and feel descriminated because of my disability by the school staff. It’s made me think if I was not disabled I would’ve been treated differently."
"Shocking School!!! I went there years ago and I got bullied for being different, as I have Autism, ADHD and mental health issues with intrusive thinking and anxiety. The teachers wasn't so good and some of the students was just bullies. I wouldn't recommend this school for people who have disabilities and mental health issues like myself."
"Very good nice staff"
"Really like this school. Staff put heart and soul into teaching and inspiring the children. It seems well run and parents kept up to date with weekly news letters via email as well as text message reminders of important events. What could be improved would be after school clubs for the infant classes and a supervised after school childcare club:-)"
