"Supurb service for man in distress.I had been waiting for my wife to pick me up after dropping my car off for a body repair in Lakeside,Redditch.I had been waiting half an hour and couldn't contact her because I'd forgotten my phone. I then decided to walk home to Oakenshaw in Redditch,thinking my wife was unable to find the garage in the complex industrial estate. I kept walking round in circles and then it started to rain and I was completely lost. I'm elderly and was getting more and more distressed. I then saw a parked taxi with Mr Taxi printed on the door. I approached the driver and asked if he could take me home. He said yes and we set off. I explained the situation as the rain started pouring down. I was so grateful to be rescued. He was very concerned and was even reluctant to take payment. What a kind gentleman. He may have thought I had dementia and it was his good deed for the day. When I got home I rang my wife who had been desperately searching the streets for me in her car. We were both very relieved and grateful to Mr Taxi. I shall definitely phone Mr Taxi when we next need a lift. Thank you."
