"Kent Life is a very kids-oriented open air farm life museum with many animals to see and pet, a few older farm houses and church to walk through, a kids play area, and activities like talks throughout the day. I think we were the only couple without kids, but still enjoyed our 1-2 hour visit seeing animals and wandering. There are a few food options like an outdoor pizza hut and Dottys Cafe (sandwiches, cakes, a few specials) - all of which had a few vegetarian options. Parking was free and only a few minute walk to the entrance. A few toilets throughout - average on cleanliness and some didn’t lock (not great when kids running around), but worked"
"A great way to spend a few hours with small children. The park/museum is spread over a large area and is split into various sections detailing various aspects of life in Kent "back in the day". There are plenty of activities for the youngsters, including a petting area, a place to feed some of the farm animals, a large playground and tractor rides. The 4 year old that I was with thoroughly enjoyed herself. I found the old buildings to be particularly interesting and would liked to have seen some staff, maybe in period costume, answering questions about them. I feel that as it is called "Kent Life" it should place a bit more emphasis on it instead of relying solely on farm animals. All in all though, a pleasant few hours spent with my granddaughter."
"Great place for a family day out! Besides the animals which seem happy in natural surroundings, there is a big playground, a soft play area, a peace garden and a couple of farmers' mansions, displaying their equipment and every day life. Moreover, there is a cafe and a pizza restaurant for a quick snack and a drink or a proper meal. Children can groom a pony and watch an owl show. They can also make crafts and pottery, with a small additional fee. We bought a day ticket, but will definitely buy the membership. Recommended!"
"Cheap price on entry, I would suggest buying a few bags of feed on waking in so you haven’t got to walk all the way back down. Tractor ride was great fun for the kids. The play park had enough for the kids to do but feel it needs abit or TLC to restore it back to its former state"
"Me and my kids have been going to Kent life for years, its a wonderful place to be! So much history to see as well as the cute farm animals. The only thing I find, is the little activities on the green I feel should be free, they had little boats to paddle around and I feel like considering how expensive it is for a ticket to get in those things should be free of charge but other than that everything is good."
