"The school shows little interest in the wellbeing of students, fails to communicate with parents and seems to care only about results. I wouldn't send another child there."
"Hugely impressed as parents of a child who joined the school this year. The leadership, teachers and school environment are second to none. Our daughter is currently in the middle of the three week transition period from Primary School which takes place before the schools break up for the summer holidays; she is already happy and enthusiastic about Brayton, especially the variety of lessons, other children...and the school canteen. We visited all three schools in our catchment area (Snaith and Selby High being the others) with open minds, Brayton seemed to be the only one which was clearly striving to improve, with high expectations of itself and the pupils. To be honest, the place just ‘felt right’. A few months after we chose Brayton, Ofsted inspected and rated the school as ‘Outstanding’, making it the only secondary school in the area with top rating."
"I am going into year 10 but i think they could be a lots of improvements they could be done. One of things that could be improve is bullying. This is because i think the school doesn't do much about bullying or resolving it.I should know that because i got bulled and the school did nothing. Another thing the school could do to improve the school is when someone has done something wrong they should ask why the student have done it before putting them in isolation and get punished for it , when they could have mental health problems. I think that the school should have someone that help people with mental health problems or if someone need to talk to someone about mental health problems, who is not in the leadership team because they might not feel like they can talk to them about it . I really hope Mr Al Moon reads this and try to put me in isolation for giving them my opinion on this school and i also think that there are being unfair to the students who has been there since this school opened by telling us that we need different pe kits when i have been at that school since the school opened and there have not changed it before and when we have got 39 weeks leaved of year 10 they get us to spend around £100 on the new kit for 39 weeks off year 10."
"This school has turned absolutely awful, instead of improving teaching they spent 1.6 million on doors and windows we can't even use and none of the courtyards are available to students. The positive discipline system (oxymoron) is absolutely terrible, they treat every student the same even the troubled, if you ever step out of line it's a instant isolation instead of talking to you about it and asking for your problems, they treat every student like a robot and not like growing up kids, I go to this school and I have been recently excluded for 5 days for...... flicking a paperclip.... as they told me about the exclusion they basically laughed in my face. I do not recommend nor do I induce it, keep away."
"As a child who attends this school I completely disagree with these awful things, i think this school is amazing compared to Snaith and many others. I recommend this school, the teachers take your feelings into account recently we're having a school makeover. We're having everything even more up to date and the school really is wonderful."
