"2022: If you're looking to eat here, be aware there is no chef, just the manager, who thinks he's a chef as well as barman, security and almost every other position in the place. Cold, undercooked steak, almost raw, made me want to heave. 2023 update: Whoever the main man is needs a course on dealing with and retaining customers. We became members halfway through last year and paid an annual membership on the assumption that it lasted 12 months - reasonable? No! It lasts until Dec 31. In January we were sent a blunt email requesting payment for the current year and if it wasn't paid within 2 weeks then there would then be a late payment fine. We have no intention of paying or revisiting this crummy social club again."
"Shocking. My fish and chips was so greasy and soggy it was inedible. The fish inside wasn't any better.. chewy and overcooked. The soup we ordered had a skin on it from being microwaved too long. The fish and chips was that bad its put me off fish and chips. The service was terrible. More staff needed... we were sat with our dirty dishes for 40 minutes. Would not go back if I was paid to. I must add the waitress was lovely.. not her fault."
"Superb club. This was used for my uncle's wake after his funeral and I was well impressed. A great place. Reasonable drink prices and the buffet which was provided was great. Plus the sun was beating down out side so everyone was Sat out on the decking to the rear, which made a sad occasion much more bearable. Would definitely go again."
"Great views from the balcony and nicely decorated internally with the food buffet option for events being excellent, we stayed there 4 hours without feeling rushed at all to leave. Would highly recommend."
