Reviews
"Since having a refurb, this venue is so much better than it was. Great that they're now keeping the bar shutters down during the performances, but still a little noise from the bar team at times. Great sound and lighting team in the venue and an eclectic mix of artists, from unknown to current stars and acts from earlier periods."
"Nice venue and friendly staff but the live music was way too loud even with earplugs and standing far away from the stage. Will not go back as I don't want to damage my hearing."
"Eclectic place with great beer and great acts on. No trouble and good vibes only. Love going because it's a real throwback to long gone places back in the early 90's when I started going out as a kid. Going again next month."
"A special and unique place. We go almost every week for the cheap and delicious Indonesian food. Great gigs, fab staff."
"I’ve wanted to go and see a concert here for years and years as a lot of my favourite acts often mention how much they enjoy playing at The Trades Club. I’ve recently relocated to nearby Oxenhope so I took the first opportunity to see a band I like (Pom Poko) playing there. Wow! The best venue I’ve ever been to by miles. They don’t have bouncers, they have volunteers welcoming you & checking you’re on the list of guests. £3.80 for a pint of really good local beer. The bar staff chat to you whilst pulling yer pint. The sound is crystal clear & not overwhelmingly loud. Why can’t all venues be like this? The best night out I’ve had in a long time."
