Reviews
"Wakefield's Socialist club venue for meetings and concerts. Very welcoming, just walked off the street on a quiet Saturday afternoon and had a good selection of cask ale to choose from. In the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide (2023) Worth a visit if you are just passing and you'll be supporting a Wakefield institution."
"What a friendly place, only 3 real ales on the bar but the choice was good."
"Went for to see Ellur in the function room, which was compact, but made for a great intimate atmosphere. My friend bought a beer and a coke and didn't get his receipt. When his card statement came through, he'd been charged £35!! As he had no proof, he had no comeback with his bank or the venue. This retrospectively spoiled what was otherwise a great evening."
