"I love bringing my dog here, mostly in the middle of the day as he's slightly reactive. He gets to have a good sniff on a long lead but plenty of space to have our own private adventure! *pls guys be aware, if a dog is on a lead it's for probably good reason. I know your dog is friendly but other dogs can be nervous/ reactive/ overcoming surgery/ blind etc.. and don't enjoy being approached, thanks for reading!"
"Very nice park with a large pool and interesting waterfowl; just a shame about the close proximity of the main road. Roll-on the bypass may be a little quieter then! Water Rail spotted twice in recent visits which is good for such a secretive bird!"
"Poynton show country fair was amazing as ever first one back since lock down. stalls fair horses engines food beer what More do you want even a fly by. the pond also is an amazing fishery aswell."
"A good rugged walk around the pool and beyond. Easily do 6 miles, road and field walking, farm views. Big loop walk on maps, easy incline. Take your walking boots very muddy through the fields at the back! You can see sheep, horses, ducks. Beautiful countryside"
"This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!"
