Reviews
"A fabulous place to walk the dogs, take a min and breathe."
"Great place for spotting wildlife & walking dogs, or having a peaceful walk out. just wish a dog walker ( who uses this place daily), would keep her multiple dogs on leads, she has been asked lots of times to do this and chooses to ignore the request, they chase and have bitten horses while they are being ridden and other people with dogs, which spoils the walk for everyone. I wouldn't be happy if you were walking my dogs in that manner. Other than that the other peeps we run into are nice, clean up after there dogs and are responsible pet owners. If shes reading this you know who you are PUT YOUR DOGS ON A BLOODY LEAD."
"Good paths for walkers and dogs to the top of the former stack and around a pond, not really suitable for wheelchair users in winter months as most paths can be seasonably muddy or after rain. Car park. Some seating near the pond. No toilets. The walk can be extended into Edlington woods where there are interesting rock formations. Also public footpaths lead under the M18 and towards the village of Wadworth through Wadworth woods with views across the flat plain towards Tickhill."
"Great even in the wet we all had fun looking for treasures.thankfully no kids on motorbikes!"
"My back yard! I love it here! Great for walking the dogs, jogging or cycling. What used to be slack heaps is now a beautiful natural area."
