"I was really disappointed as unlike most places, they are extremely welcoming and friendly when enquiring, booking and arriving etc. If you are having acrylics, this is probably a great place but for natural nails, it’s not. I specifically asked I did not want the drill used. After feeling a tad pressured to, I agreed just for the top layer. The manicure itself takes minutes and extremely rushed and I guess this reflects in the price. There is literally no time to look/check properly as she worked at lightening speed - fine if the result is good. It wasn’t. What my main issue is, is that she was about to start my base coat with still old remnants of the previous polish on my fingers!!!!! It doesn’t matter about not using a drill, you just soak it for another 2-3 minutes! I’ve had manicures for years with most places never using a drill, it’s purely done for speed but to leave me with old polish on, is not on. I picked her up on this. She then dipped my fingers in a pot of something and scraped it off and applied the base coat immediately. I actually didn’t know what my hands were being dipped into at the time and when I noticed my nails and skin getting extremely dry, I asked. She said she wiped it off but she did not. So my nails had base coat and polish on top of my nails covered in acetone. It is a conveyer belt in there and the quickest manicure ever. If I hadn’t questioned the old polish, it would have been even quicker! So this is why it’s quite cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. They aren’t there to make sure your nails stay healthy. Also, my left hand looks great but for some strange reason, 3 of the nails on my right hand are all filed at a slant !?!? No idea why! I won’t be going back. I was not demanding, I was extremely polite and quiet throughout bar questioning the old polish about to be left on. So this is a genuine review of what happened in case they decide to say this did not happen. The friend who recommended me now knows not to send people she knows who have natural nail manicures. But they were so busy with a chaotic atmosphere, they won’t care."

"Best nail bar around! Friendly and very talented staff! The only nail salon I’ve ever been to that offers tea and coffee. They never fail to make my short nails look gorgeous whilst dealing with my tricky requests like not using the nail drill (which I’ve had many issues with in other salons).
