"Cannot fault the staff and the friendliness of the welcome and service. Room was a tad tired but not an issue overall. Food was delicious if not a bit pricey and a pint of San Miguel at £6.50 is steep for the location. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. All that said the hotel serviced my needs during my visit to our DC in Sheffield."
"Our stay included a bottle of prosecco and six mini desserts (far too much for us to eat) an evening meal, overnight stay, plus a wonderful breakfast. All for £175, I've no idea how they do it for the price! Although the wine and drinks are very expensive, but we couldn't really complain when the package was so reasonable. We absolutely love this hotel , we'll be visiting it again soon."
"Lovely food. Service could be improved. We were asked to arrive early then made to wait an additional ten minutes even though there were empty tables. Festive lunch was advertised as four courses for £35. However it turned out to be only three courses for £35."
"My daughter got married here on 5th November, the staff, the management the food, the rooms and the venue were absolutely spot on. They were accommodating, polite and really helpful from start to finish, The woman I think she was called Amanda who organised the day never stopped, making sure that everything was running smoothly. Some reviews complain about the drinks prices yes they were pricey but they made sure you were served quickly and efficiently. It was really special and one day I will never forget that is what you ask for and they delivered. Would I recommend , Hell yeah. Thank you Whitley Hall for a unforgettable wedding."
"Attended an event wedding event and the buffet food was lovely. The venue itself is stunning, the staff were excellent and there was a nice outside area with bar too so you could escape the noise/heat in the main room. The ONLY reason I have marked it down is, as usual with a lot of hotels, the prices of drinks, not just alcohol but soft drinks and even a blackcurrant and soda. Excellent otherwise."
