"Fixed my hair. Looking sharp. 5 years younger. Great service"
"First of all I'm giving the 2 stars instead of the 1 purely because my barber (I won't name here) was a really nice fella. However, my hair cut was very poor. Initially I explained what I wanted and how I wanted it do look. I go to Ako Barbers (Camden) and by now I know exactly how I like my hair. As soon as my barber started, I knew it was going to end up bad. Parts of my hair were sticking out, to which I would ask a few times to cut them out. The shape up was awful (barely had a shape up), barely any time given to making sure the cut was finely lined up on my forehead and overall my hair looked an unfinished fluffy mess. As I said, the barber was a lovely guy and asked if I liked. I'm fairly certain he was new since I remember him asking which hair wash to use, to an older man (the owner, i think?). Less than half way through I could tell there was no way to fix it unless another barber got involved...the older man nearby just smiled and said I looked good, which I definitely didn't. I just smiled and thought I need to get out of here. When I got home I literally just shaved all my hair off after trying to fix it myself but no matter what it looked so unfinished and poor quality. I wasn't actually going to write a negative review but I happened to walk past this evening and I've seen a young guy getting a skin fade, and by the looks of it, no problem at all. A waste of £20, very disappointed."
"Second time ive used this hairdressers and both times ive been very impressed. Lovely people to add. Highly recommend."
"Came to London for a running race and needed a more aerodynamic hair cut and freshened up a bit without paying exhuberent prices. I was accompanied by a cheerful chirping bird and barber that paid close attention to detail and had a skillful touch. I came out with a really good fade for a fair deal."
