"Kids loved petting the animals. We went today and the children fed the animals by hand, which was a great experience. Animals are well looked after by the staff. Staff are very friendly and let the children pet the rabbit Snowy. Free to enter as well as very cheap to feed the animals. Fun day out. Can easily spend a couple of hours. It's a hidden gem amongst the houses. Full credit to the staff for keeping it going."
"Lovely experience. Very small farm, adorable animals an my personal favourite was sheep Storm who loved cuddles!"
"Balsall Heath City Farm, very small but great fun for little kids. Suitable for children 2 to 10, older kids will probably not get much fun, but you never know. Free entry, which is great, but in these Covid times you have to book via email, and get a slot. You can feed animals, chickens, ducks geese, turkeys. You can also see Guinea pigs, rabbits etc which are in hutches. There are some sheep and goats in a separate enclosure, which you can feed also. Staff are friendly and very helpful, but most of the time it seems to be un maned. Remember it's a charity and not for profit farm. Enjoy!"
"Golden gem. Our girls (7yrs and 4yrs) enjoyed themselves at this free farm. Park right outside for free aswell. We spent 40 mins which was just right. Friendly staff. Chickens, geese, ducks, goats, sheep, turkey, rabbits. 20p to get small pot of food to feed animals. Pre book online or just turn up and book as they normally not busy.."
"Local community based farm run by St Paul's community development trust for many years. A proper gem of a place. Right outside my door step in Balsall Heath. Great for younger children to explore the animals. It also has a pitch next to it so you can do other sports activities as well."
