"**I would strongly recommend you to request a skin test prior having a keratin treatment in this salon** I found the salon on Treatwell and I went there few times for haircut and blowdry. I was very happy about it and everyone there was kind and nice. Few weeks ago I went there again for a keratin treatment. No patch test was facilitated prior offering me the service. During the treatment my eyes burned and I teared down, I was reassured by the stylist that this reaction was “normal as the treatment is aggressive”. The keratin was also applied on my scalp too and it wasn’t rinsed out after being applied; furthermore I was advised to not wash my hair for at least 48 hours. In the same evening I have experienced an allergic reaction: I had swelling on my forehead, nose and eyes area, pain, temperature, skin rash, wounds on my scalp + bleeding and yellow discharge, severe hair loss and patches with permanent hair loss. I had to seek for urgent medical advise. I have experienced symptoms + taken meds for over 3 weeks. I have approached the business for the full list of ingredients in the products they applied on my scalp (to identify the allergens), the business ID insurance n (which should be visible on their website + salon) and a financial compensation. They sent me a picture of the product they applied on my scalp, but unfortunately no ingredients were shown, they never gave me their insurance ID number (now I wonder if they’re actually fully insured), but they agreed to a financial compensation as final settle to cover part of damage which includes: loss of work, medication, hair products, skin products, medical appointments, stress, physical health issues, loss of hair + hair damage, loss of prepaid planned activities, loss of enjoyment and more. On a positive note Eva (business manager not owner) was approachable, kind and polite, I would recommend liaising with her for any concerns you might have. Even tho the salon met my request of final settle, I still feel the urge of sharing my experience in order to avoid other people going through what I suffered from. Please be mindful of the risks of this treatment and consider carefully if it is worth to get it. If so please request a patch test! I wish I was aware of the possible risks in order to make an informed decision."
"I normally go to this salon to get my fringe trimmed, and I never had an issue with their service - always satisfied with the outcome. However today I went in for a layered cut on my hair and literally received the worst haircut of my life. They told me they had time to cut my hair but then the whole process was rushed. It just felt very unprofessionally done and it was not even what i wanted. I wanted distinct layers but the lady just trimmed my ends and did “blended layers” on the front section of my hair. By the end I didn’t even want to argue with them so i paid and left. I have been growing my hair out so I was really apprehensive about cutting it and because the cut was so badly done and i was holding back tears i immediately went to another salon nearby and asked them to fix it."
"My visit started off well as staff were very accomodating helping me find the salon and over me being late due to strikes. This is the only positive though, I had a keratin treatment which I have had numerous times before. The product instantly made my eyes sting and this continued during treatment with nose become effected too, the product is far too toxic compared to all past treatments, the girl drying hair had to go to the door for air. I was passed between three different members of staff, hair was only part dried before straightening which ment it sizzled. I booked for cut also, when I asked for this at the end a different stylist came and did a two minute job basically butchering my already fragile hair. The cut is so bad and uneven I'm currently trying to find a salon open today to rescue it. I teach young children and to be honest I may aswell of given them scissors and let them do it. My hair is frizzy, tangled and wonky on getting up today and feel really upset by the whole experience. Please, please don't use this salon just like I did as it seems reasonable, you will deeply regret it. Just pay more for a professional job somewhere. I honestly have never experienced such a bad treatment and cut."

They listened to what I wanted and gave their professional opinion, all the while remaining friendly, professional and very efficient. The salon interior may not be the swankiest, but I can't fault the service (especially with 50% off summer sale). I love my new haircut and colour, thank you!"
