"I had a couple of positive experiences here, where Niketa went above and beyond (even allowing me to come out to run an urgent errand and come back to finish the appointment). I was looking for a regular local hairdresser at the time, and thought this would be the place. However, it appeared that there was very little value in being a loyal customer as my last experience was so negative, I now feel unable to go back. I've had hair bleached, which takes a long time, so I didn't mind when she would go off and book her holiday and pass me on to other less senior staff. However, I was then overcharged (after having just told her about recently being scammed, it felt like I was scammed again). I emailed once I had double checked the correct price based on previous appointments. I was told I was incorrect and quoted prices that didn't match with the advertised prices (I was charged £25 more and had specified I would forego the trim to save money, but even after the facts, there was still a £5 difference). Perhaps because I was passed on to another member of staff, the style didn't stay in my hair like the previous time, so I was also disappointed in the result of the blow-dry treatment, but that was not acknowledged in our correspondence either. Months have gone by, and I have heard nothing more. At the end of the day, it's vital to communicate clear prices with the customer, and that's what I said, and as other reviews have said the same thing about the lack of price transparency, I hope this is taken on board in future, but unfortunately, I've had to find a new hairdresser. It also impacts on the business below as it obviously feels uncomfortable now to go in through the salon."

"Absolutely loved my cut. I have really long hair and it is hard for me to trust hairdressers but my hair was kept the length I wanted and such beautiful layers were added. Very happy with the how lovely she was too. We had a really great chat and I will be going back for colour too."

"I hate going to the hairdressers because of social anxiety and because I'm a large woman of middle-years most places will only suggest a stacked bob (how boring). I have tricky hair, and many hairdressers will go ahead and cut it without bothering to understand how it behaves first. Usually the day after, it looks terrible because they didn't take the foibles into consideration. I read the good Google reviews so I popped along to get the vibe...the junior hairdresser was very friendly and welcoming. I made an appointment for today. The stylist was Lorna. She cut my hair DRY at first to see how it hung first, then washed and styled it after. It was a revelation to me, to do it this way, and I think it turned out better as a result. She could see my hair's quirks! Also it was reasonably priced for a London suburban setting at £50. I live in nearby East Dulwich and they all charge much more there, but I've never been fully happy with the results. So I will be returning!! Thanks Lorna!"
