"Had a really upsetting experience here today. I’d cut my thumb and index finger while cooking about 4 days prior to the appointment. The nail technician was loudly complaining about it to me, in front of everyone. I explained what had happened but she continued criticising my hands. Eventually I said “I get it. I’m really sorry: I’m not immune to injury”. You’d think this would have stopped her but, after a moment of quiet she continued her cruel analysis of my hands. Every mark on my finger. She even said my cuticles were damaged and they’re literally unbroken and fine. She basically insulted the way my hands look 5 separate times. In the end I had to actually remove my hands from the table and say “Could you just stop? You don’t need to keep saying these things. I’m a mother of two and a half year old twins. I don’t get time to look after myself. I came here as a treat for me. Just stop it”. Honestly I felt like crying. She apologised but why did she feel the need to be so mean? What’s to be gained? Imagine if I’d have sat down and scrutinised everything about her? I could have but what stops me doing that is being a nice person. For reference to the salon (though judging by the other reviews they don’t pay any mind to feedback) it was the technician in the beige fleece top. Please - don’t go to this salon. You risk their needless unkindness. Also the acrylics and gel she did just look bumpy and weird. I’ll never go back. Wish I’d read the other reviews before. Just a horrible experience. Why be so mean? What do they get out of it? People paying to do something nice for themselves just leave feeling picked on."

"I hate this place ,absolutely horrible. Talking bad about customers right in front of them. I had this lady who was giving me attitude for being a teenager.the nails were wonky and bent ,it looked like it was chewed by dogs and was run over by a bus ( fyi ,this was 60 pounds) . The place smelled funny and was very dusty and unhealthy.the next day my nail were hurting and I went to the doctors and they said I had an infection and had to have medicine for weeks Don’t come to this salon ever!!!"

"At first the girl that did my nails was happy to do as I wanted, but then she would just ignore silly mistakes, I would tell her and she would say it looks nice to her! Plus I got my nails done (acrylic infill with gel polish) last week Thursday and in less than a week it started coming off! Very unhappy with the service"
