"I came to Luv Natural on a recommendation by a friend after 7 years of always going to the same person. While they’re definitely at the expensive end, on par with more well known names like Morris Roots, I found the price to be worth it. I’m so happy with how my hair turned out, which was predominantly repairs. Staff were friendly, accommodating and understanding. I do wish it was cheaper, but for the fantastic job they did, and the confidence they have given back to me by fixing my lox, I think it was worth it and I am very grateful for their attention to detail; it didn’t feel like they were just locticians, they made me feel as though they cared about my hair and my journey. I’ve heard lots of good things about them, and they did not let me down. Also, I don’t know what shampoo they use, but I need it in my life, my hair has never felt so soft!!!"

"Before making my hair appointment, I spoke to Tashna and sent her a photo of the style I wanted. She informed me of the date when George would be available, since he was the only one who could do it. I made my appointment and paid the deposit online. When I got there, I was seen by the assistant who shampooed and groomed my hair (despite me telling her that I had shampooed the night before). While grooming, she managed to break three of my locks and even though she guaranteed that they’d be reattached, only one got reattached by George. When it was time to style my hair, George came around and proceeded to discourage me from getting that style done, he went as far as to start a totally different style. I told him that I would prefer the style I intended on getting, but by this time I realised that he did not have the know how. Before I left the salon, I informed Tashna that I wasn’t happy, but she was unconcerned, since I had already paid £80 for a rubbish style that I had to undo the very next day! Needless to say, I feel cheated and would never recommend or return to this shop!!"

"The lack of professionalism was unacceptable. I approached the salon for a loc installation after seeing their Instagram and the good reviews/videos. Bare with me… I booked a “consultation” appointment for £20. I arrived at the appointment for 9am. The appt was pretty straight forward…Why do you want loc extensions. We can provide the locs..this is the price etc. After speaking to the head stylist, the manager said that she could possibly get me in for Monday (it was Friday) but they were having some maintenance work done in the salon over the weekend, so they would call me on Sunday to confirm if the Monday appt would work. Sunday came…no call…so I sent several message over Instagram, whatts app and FaceTime. I finally get a response via text in the week saying sorry we are extremely busy and don’t open the salon on Sundays, so that’s why we didn’t respond. ( they completely forgot they said they would call me) I messaged several times over a few weeks to see if I could get appt. Every time they said they would get back to me and never did. I finally spoke to the manager again and she said that the main stylist is not available for the loc installation, so she would try to find another stylist fot the job. I even suggested to book well in advance if appts are booked up now. Got a text message back saying no appts available. Long story short(er). I paid £20 for a consultation and could not get an appointment. (I felt like I got ripped off) To install the locs for approx £500(250 for hair/ £50p/h for the work). I was baffled by how much they didn't care to find an appoitnment. This salon is very busy and seems to have a good reputation for their customer base. As a new customer I felt like I was asking them for a favour. I finally moved on and found another salon. I wasn’t gonna write a review but a friend said that I should genuinely let people know what’s up. Again, they are “nice” enough people but the lack of professionalism and care was pretty bad in my experience. Never again."

"I have been going to Luv Natural since they have been at Walthamstow, (almost 5 years now).Despite being a regular, their professionalism always shines through, in regards to my hair, no complaints, if any issues arise, it will be resolved !!!... All the best to the owner, T and the team ! :-)"

"I went to Luvnatural for the second time. It was originally recommended by one of my friends. The first time went super well and I was very happy with my hair. I came back for colouring and interlocking. This time, the hair is a little too tight, and I got some trouble sleeping with it even five days after. I'm sure it's a one-off. I will update after removing the hairdo."
