"I only recently found out, by chance, that this store has a deli. As a heating engineer I often find myself trying to decide where to buy my lunch from. Whenever I am in the Boston Spa area at lunch time I now always go to Costcutter. They have a great selection of home made specials that change daily. Today I had sausage casserole, which was excellent.... And their home made sausage rolls are the best I have ever tasted. Unlike most others where you have to search hard to find the meat, these ones are packed full of meat. I would go as far as saying they are potentially competition winning sausage rolls, they are that good. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. I'm so glad I have found this hidden gem."

"With everything that has happened this year, so think costcutters has been a saviour for many people by weighing flour, icing sugar, baking powder, oats and even dried and fresh yeast. I might seem biased because I work on the deli selling sandwiches hot and cold and specials most days ( lasagne, corned beef hash, mac and cheese, meatball baguette) and much more . "A local shop with a good selection of items you normally find in large chain supermarkets. A nice delicatessen counter which at times sells fresh sandwiches is a plus. Down side, is the cash machine has never any money available."

"Customer service at the Boston Spa Outlet is THE WORST I have ever come across. My wife and I called in there in early November. We purchased a few items. At the point of sale we paid with a credit card. The young man seemed to be having a few Problems which caused us to put the card through twice. A couple of days later my wife checked her bank statement. Sure enough the amount had been taken out twice. WE do not live in that area. Boston Spa is a considerable distance; however we decided to have a ride over armed with the receipt and the bank statement expecting to get an immediate refund. How wrong we were. I explained the situation to the manage rxxxxxxx and showed him the receipt and statement. I was shocked with his reply. He snapped back at us “I could not possibly give you a refund, I’m part of a franchise and you need to take it up with them. On further pressing him, we gave him our name address and phone number, He said he would sort it out and get back to us. He never did. To try and shorten this storey the situation is this. We have phoned him several times; he said he was sorting it. After a couple of weeks we got in touch with Cost Cutter customer service expecting some help. Wrong again. Other than passing me from pillar to post and making promises to call back, and never calling. I then thought I would go to their website to find further help. I got in touch with the HR department. At last I’m getting somewhere. Wrong again. After a few emails, guess what. They are going to refer me to customer service. I give up. After six weeks still no refund ?? Customers you had better watch your money carefully, because getting it back is proving extremely difficult. R Arnold (Brassed off customer)"
