Reviews
"Not worth it. Worst place to be in. Zero customer service and rude staff."
"The layout of this store is absolutely horrendous. The bright lights gave me a terrible migraine. :β("
"I've been shopping here for almost 10 years: the shop is small but the prices are alright and there is a decent variety, even though I still needed to go to other shops for some other things. What has been recently gone downhill and pushed me to write this review is the staff's attitude, either new and old. Some of them have been openly rude by talking of me when they thought I couldn't hear them, other accusing my little sister of eating a chocolate when there where a lots of kids messing in the shop around the chocolate aisle, and she was not. Lastly, one of the newer staff that didn't let me purchase an item because I didn't have an id card on me, while I'm 30 YEARS OLD. And everyone there knows it because I've been shopping there for 10 years. I wouldn't mind it if she approached me politely, since I understand it is her job, but being sassy about asking her colleague two meters behind her and calling me "love" with the most unnerving tone surely didn't make her appear professional. Honestly, they should review who they hire or how they train in customer service. I won't go shopping there anymore, even if I have to go to shops outside the area. And I used to spend hundreds here. Just horrible."
"Has the essentials you need for good prices. Staff are very helpful and can help you find products. Sometimes in rush hour there is no baskets available at the front of the store."
"I paid a visit to asda for bunch of bananas. It was quick visit due to Ramadan and post kids club. I was using the self checkout for my shopping and a black lady approached me very aggressively, she stated she wanted to check the weight of the bananas, I made the transaction using my phone and to prove my point I had to re scan and weigh the bananas. I questioned her why does she want to check the weight and she stated they look too much for Β£1.45. When I questioned her further she said don't start, u got kids with you and I was not shouting or swearing. I was just asking her point but when I showed her the receipt, she pretended she was serving other customers, her fellow colleagues came and stood beside her acting like her support. I felt very intimidated and vulnerable. If any manager sees this comment, feel free to get in touch with me. It is Ramadan and we are busyy with kids and family anyways. This isn't what I needed. I am very very upset and livid by this situation for just bananas."
