"Staff where friendly, allowed me to bring my support animal and best friend. Everything was explained before things happened. I was given calm clear instructions that eased my anxiety. The nurse was lovely and softly spoken. I will come back for checks in future even though it’s out of my city"
"The service is rude and cheeky. It is not possible to arrange an appointment. If you call me on Monday and they ask for an appointment, they will have you call you on Wednesday at 8 am.So I call at 8am and the woman tells me to call on Monday.I am asking if he can book an appointment for me for Mon. or Wed.No, it can't. Paranoia."
"Only chose 1 star bc you can’t choose none; it’s impossible to get an appointment and you can end up on the phone for hours waiting only to get disconnected and have to start again. They don’t open past 5 on a Friday and aren’t open on weekends, basically if you work full time and need to get an appointment you will not get seen for at least half a year. Good luck."
"Short story: feel like the nurse I spoke to didn't take me seriously. Should be 1 star but the other 2 staff to whom I explained the situation were efficient and sympathetic in their response so added another star. Long story: NB This review goes into *detail* about the coil and it's very long winded! Was told to ring here by my GP as they do coil removal service. I have had trouble with my coil rang, lots of spotting and some weird cramping and when I went to check it I could feel a hard but poking out of my cervix. spoke with a sympathetic lady who told me if I rang in early the next morning they would be able to get me an appointment. And in the morning I rang and spoke with another pleasant member of staff who said a nurse would call to do the assessment today as I was clearly having issues with the coil(Essentially they have to do a telephone consultation first before booking the removal) I received a call back and asked if it was possible to rearrange the call as I was actually on a bus but the lady said it would be Tuesday (today was Friday) and I said okay let's go ahead with the consultation. (I was so embarrassed but was having major issues with it and getting desperate!) I said I could feel the hard plastic of the coil and was experiencing blood and she told me that if the coil was jammed in my cervix like I was 'suggesting' I would be in a lot of pain and I as wasn't in pain my consultation (before even booking the coil removal+ despite me pleading) could wait until Tuesday!! I said I would deal with the problem myself and hung up. When I got home I unravelled the strings and they were literally hanging out of me beeccaauuse the coil WAS displaced as I had tried to explain!!! And the main body of the coil before it separates into 2 parts that branch out WAS what I could feel coming out of my cervix! I just think it's really unprofessional when a patient trying to access the service isn't taken seriously!"
"The service provided is great however the waiting time is just horrible. That's what make this place for me to not visit often when needed. The place should be more organized as some people do not want to wait 2 hrs or so to get a 15 mins visit. My idea is to inform on-day-registered patients that they can easily come back after 2 hrs instead of waiting that long. Or anything that would work better as the waiting time is definitely too long."
