"Sorry this is going to be long but i must speak up. They're Absolutely horrendous! I don't know if they waiting for my death before they book an appointment. Honestly I have been complaining about extreme abdominal cramps that go around my back and into my thighs and legs crippling me since April and they only attended to it in October (this is only because I requested a fit note and Emma needed clarity because I've had 1 every month since April following my RTA) so she sent me off to get blood work and a routine pep scan. Waited a week and a half after hearing nothing back so logged on to my NHS app to see that the results have been out for some days now. Rang to have a doctor call me back to explain the results as 1 was high risk, 1 normal, 1 borderline and another abnormal only to be told no appointments available. As someone who suffers with severe anxiety and is in therapy for it this did not remedy the situation So I rang 111 after having an attack in hopes of getting someone there to explain it to me and as they couldn't excess it they booked me an appointment hear this... same day and a doctor rang to explain only to be told that i would need a more invasive scan to check my ovaries as the abnormal test suggests there could be a problem there especially given my other symptoms so i mentioned to the doctor that it was meant to be booked during the same time as my blood test and I've yet to receive any word of it & she replied they're probably working on it. Now fast forward to my time of the month a few days later and I fainted 3x on my bathroom floor during the 1st day and 1x 2nd and 3rd day unable to move or function regularly for the entire 5 days. I can always tell which side I am ovulating from per cycle as again I get extreme pains on the one side affecting my limbs, back and abdominal area however this time it was overwhelming and cause me to collapse 2x in 4 hours I rang the gp to query this and file a complaint for neglegance, I was told an email will be sent out and someone should be in contact with me within 24 hours. I have now gone through 2 cycles and 2 ovulation periods with a total of 8 collapses (1 happening just 5mins before writing this). I have been to A&E & rang 111... painkillers and ring your GP are the only responses I have received. I am high risk of cervical cancer, blood works in that area are abnormal and I faint multiple times every 2weeks which I am almost certain is caused by experiencing low blood sugar levels naturally cause by periods and being that i am borderline diabetic...I suppose i ought to die one of these days when I collapse."
"You wait until 08:00 to book an online appointment. Then by 08:08 you get kicked out of the system as capacity for the surgery is reached. It takes 15 minutes to complete the on line request which would take 2-3 days to complete. To get ANY service in a decent time is very difficult. Go back to the phone service which was far better than this online service."
"Should close it down. Can take days to get an appointment, never see a doctor in person anymore. Can’t get online to request appointments or prescription because it’s always at capacity since the new system was introduced. Since it became part of the YHP group it is a shambles. Not blaming the staff, they must get overwhelmed because they have no one there to help them. I worry for the future to try and get help from a doctor."
"If it was an option to give 0 stars then I would. The new system of trying to get an appointment is useless and then when given a day to get test results you have to go into the surgery only to be told no, nothings arrived, and we don't know wgen theyll arrive. They don't call you with results the only option you have us to keep going in! Great infection protection there. This us what working people pay national insurance for an inadequate service."
"I was in and out quite quickly today when waiting to see the nurse. The health partnership has a new online method for booking appointments -this method is troublesome , I tried using it and it didn't work -I had to wait on the phone for an hour & 15 mins to get to speak to someone about booking an appointment, there should be more people answering the phone. The new system for booking appointments isn't accessible for everyone, there is a problem when putting in your surgery , not all of the surgery's are on there , so you don't know what surgery to use if you only use your own surgery, patients needed to be told what surgery to use, we don't all know the surgery's in the partnership - plus not everyone has the Internet or a means to getting access to the Internet. While in the queue at Oakham surgery I saw two patients who struggled with getting an appointment and staff insisted it had to be done online, which discriminates against those who don't have the WWW. The staff do not appear to be very sympathetic to this ."
