He came down to my house, promptly, did a lot of testing and charging the car etc but the alternator had gone, so he gave me a quote the same afternoon and he took the car away the next day to his workshop, brought it back fully repaired with a new alternator. Really friendly honest mechanic. Highly, recommended. Who knew his workshop was only down the road ..
