"I was very impressed with the help and honesty I received when I visited Hylands Garage. I went there on a personal recommendation from a friend after I'd had a main dealer service on my car under a service plan deal I have with them. They'd called me to tell me that all my brake pads and disks were over 80% worn and needed to be replaced as soon as possible. The cost was beyond my budget but being a pretty key component I figured I should get them done so went to Hylands, explained the situation and they kindly checked the brakes for me and told me that I had no news to change them immediately, the fronts were low but still good for a couple of thousand miles and the rears were ok. They also quoted me less to replace them than the main dealer did. So I'll be heading back there in a couple of months time to get the front brakes changed and they said they'd check the rears again and advise me on them at the time. I was very impressed with the honesty and help they gave me and based on this experience will certainly use them in the future."

This place is trustworthy so you won't get any unnecessary jobs added on. I suggest doing simple jobs like changing clip on windscreen blades yourself to keep your costs down. It always baffles me when I see people paying to have this done."

"Very pleased with the service I received from this garage. Bought a second hand car and had issues with it pretty early on, took it into Hylands and they provided a fantastic service. Kept me up to date the whole time they were working on it and were very helpful and friendly. I was expecting a painfully large bill at the end of this as the car had a lot of error codes showing and a lot of issues where a previous owner had worked on it themselves and not very well at all. But Hylands really looked after me with the pricing and I left feeling really impressed with level of service.
