Your car cas arrived; your car is going into the workshop now; your car will be finished today and cleaned tomorrow; your car will be delivered on XX date; etc In particular likes the personal updates by phone. Overall very happy with experience."
"After my car was involved in an argument with a skip lorry, DLG were amazing! They collected my car within days, carried out all the repairs including a new wing, and had my car back to me within 5 days. All fixed and sparkling clean. They also called regularly to update me. Fabulous service and would definitely use them again."
"Not sure how they are rated so highly. I genuinely not sure the reviews are genuine as a lot of the lower rated reviews are all similar to my experiences. Last minute insurance cancellation, having to take my car back in several times. A lack of care etc. The only reason I went with them was because of the high ratings. However - I felt the service I got was lazy, rushed and unhelpful. Like they were being forced to work on my car rather then acting on behalf of my insurance. Too many issues so I will bullet point them: - They refused to do safety checks on my car after an accident. Even though they are working for me and I am there client. Costs are recovered from at fault insurance company. They only wanted to do cosmetic works, which was terrible on its own. - My car had been in the garage for a total of three times over a 6 week period and repairs are still not correct. - They firstly replaced my front bumper and returned the new bumper back damaged to me. After sending the car back two more times the bumper is still damaged and I am now having to take up my own time to take the car to Audi. The damage was so obvious when the car was delivered I didn’t even need to point it out to the driver each time - Bonnet. They left my bonnet uneven after the accident. It was bad I could pretty much see the engine when the bonnet was closed. Still not happy with this after the third attempt at fixing this. - My lights were damaged during the accident. And the first time they returned my car they didn’t bother to repair it. Second time they tried to rebuff the lights which still showed clear signs of the damage. The third time they finally ordered and replaced the light. Just lazy as mentioned. - Ended up with 3 different marks and scratches on the car. Luckily I took pictures when sending the car in. - Took me forever to get even a half written job report. I have only got the job report from the first two failed jobs after asking five times and the issue being escalated to ceo level. I am still waiting for my final job report. - They removed my Data plug from the car? Why would you do this? Unless your doing something you shouldn’t? Found it weird and had to request for it to be put back in its place. - They won’t replace like for like items. My number plate was different from what it was before the accident. I now have a number plate on my car with there garage details on. Can’t understand that. - They wouldn’t let me keep old parts to my car either. - After speaking with the hire company I was told this garage asked them to cancel my insurance even though they had not returned my car. Leaving me carless in the process. Honestly, I felt like I was a hindrance to the garage. They didn’t want my car in the garage for long. The fact I had to bring up the issues to them and they tried to deliver my car back damaged is unacceptable. How they have 4.7 star reviews. Only God knows. Unacceptable in every levels. They just kept trying to rush the car repairs and delivering the car back to me. They also kept the car in my drive whilst ordering the part for the damaged light. Which meant I had no access to my drive."
"Excellent from start to finish. They offered to collect my car, deliver a courtesy and return afterwards, but I decided to take the car to them. I dealt with about 4 staff in total. All were polite, knowledgeable and interested. Regular updates about the progress of the repair and work completed expeditiously. On the day of collection, again, everyone knew what they were doing, a full explanation of what had been done, a five year guarantee. Highly recommend. John Lewis standard of service."
